How it works
How to multistream from OBS in four steps
Set it up once. After that, going live everywhere is the same as going live anywhere: press Start Streaming in your encoder.
Add your destinations
In StreamHouse, create a Live multistream and add YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Facebook or any custom RTMP server with its stream key. For YouTube you can connect your channel instead of pasting a key.
Copy the server and key
Save the stream and StreamHouse shows one server URL and one stream key. In OBS, open Settings → Stream, choose Custom and paste both. Other encoders have the same two fields.
Go live
Press Start Streaming. StreamHouse picks up your feed and starts sending it to every destination — no button to press on our side.
End the stream
When you’re done, stop the stream in your StreamHouse dashboard. If you only stop your encoder, StreamHouse treats it as a dropped connection and waits for you to come back.
OBS → Settings → Stream
Two fields, pasted once

Stream key
Your StreamHouse key
Send H.264 video with AAC audio. Every platform gets exactly the video you send, so pick a bitrate all of them accept.
Seamless reconnect
Your internet drops. Your stream doesn’t.
On Wi-Fi, mobile data or Starlink, a connection drop normally ends the stream on every platform at once. StreamHouse keeps the platform side of the connection open while yours comes back.
- 0 s
Your connection drops
Your encoder loses the connection to StreamHouse — a router restart, a weak signal, a switch between networks.
- ~3 s
A holding screen goes out
Instead of ending, the platforms receive a plain holding screen with silence, in your stream’s own resolution and frame rate. Viewers stay on the stream.
- Back
You’re live again
As soon as your encoder reconnects — OBS does this on its own — your video replaces the holding screen on every platform.
- 15 min
Time limit
If the encoder doesn’t come back within 15 minutes, StreamHouse ends the stream and your dashboard shows why.
Platforms decide what viewers see on their side; the holding screen keeps the connection from them to StreamHouse open.
Destinations
Every platform you stream to, from one feed
Pick the destinations for each live stream: YouTube, Twitch, Kick and Facebook, plus any service that gives you an RTMP or RTMPS server URL and a stream key.
YouTube without copying keys
Connect your YouTube channel and leave the key empty: StreamHouse creates a public live broadcast on your channel when you go live.
Bring your own encoder
Works with the software and gear you already use
Anything that can stream to a custom RTMP server can multistream through StreamHouse. You keep your scenes, cameras and overlays.
OBS Studio
Settings → Stream → Service: Custom. Paste the server URL and the stream key.
Streamlabs Desktop
Choose a custom streaming server in the stream settings and paste the same two values.
vMix
Add a Custom RTMP Server destination in the streaming settings.
Phone apps
Larix Broadcaster, PRISM Live Studio and other mobile apps with an RTMP option — handy on the go, where connections drop most.
Cameras and hardware encoders
Streaming cameras and encoders with an RTMP output, set once and left in place.
Any RTMP source
Production software, a video switcher or your own FFmpeg command — if it speaks RTMP, it works.
Good to know
How the relay handles your stream
What StreamHouse does with your feed, and the settings that get the best result on every platform.
One upload
Your home connection carries one stream, not one per platform. StreamHouse makes the copies on its servers.
Video left untouched
StreamHouse passes your video through as your encoder sends it — no re-encoding, no added quality loss.
Audio normalised
Audio is converted to 256 kbps AAC so every platform gets the same clean track, including after a reconnect.
One bitrate for all
Every destination receives the same video, so stay within the strictest platform you stream to.
2-second keyframes
Set a 2-second keyframe interval in your encoder. YouTube, Twitch and Kick all ask for it.
Starts by itself
The relay starts when your encoder connects. If something goes wrong, the dashboard shows why.
Counts as one stream
A live multistream uses one stream from your plan, however many platforms it goes to.
Production stays yours
Scenes, cameras, overlays and alerts stay in your encoder. StreamHouse only relays what it sends.
Compare
Multistreaming from OBS: plugin vs StreamHouse
You can multistream straight from OBS with a multiple-RTMP plugin. Here’s what changes when the copies are made in the cloud instead.
| Feature | OBS + multi-RTMP plugin | StreamHouse |
|---|---|---|
| Upload bandwidth | OBS + multi-RTMP plugin: One full stream per platform from your connection | StreamHouse: One stream, whatever the number of platforms |
| When your internet drops | OBS + multi-RTMP plugin: Every platform connection drops; each one reconnects separately | StreamHouse: Platforms get a holding screen and stay connected |
| Phones, cameras and hardware encoders | OBS + multi-RTMP plugin: OBS only | StreamHouse: Any app or device with RTMP output |
| Setting up destinations | OBS + multi-RTMP plugin: A server and key per platform, in the plugin | StreamHouse: Added once in StreamHouse; one server and key in your encoder |
| YouTube broadcast | OBS + multi-RTMP plugin: Paste a stream key | StreamHouse: Paste a key, or connect your channel and it’s created for you |
| Scenes, cameras and overlays | OBS + multi-RTMP plugin: Yes, in OBS | StreamHouse: Yes — you keep producing in OBS |
| Cost | OBS + multi-RTMP plugin: Free plugin; you need the upload speed for every copy | StreamHouse: From $19/month |

What StreamHouse customers say
Reviews from creators who stream with StreamHouse.
Excellent service and great support
I've been using StreamHouse for my YouTube music channels, and my experience has been excellent. The platform is easy to use, uploading and preparing streams is straightforward, and managing multiple 24/7 streams is very convenient. What really makes StreamHouse stand out is the customer support. Umit has been incredibly helpful, responsive, patient, and genuinely interested in making sure everything works properly. Whenever I've had a question or an issue, he has taken the time to help me personally and find a solution. It's rare to find this level of personal support, especially with a growing service. I'm very happy with my experience and look forward to seeing StreamHouse continue to grow. Highly recommended! ❤️ — Tamara
Great support and platform
I started using StreamHouse recently for my 24/7 livestreams, it was super easy to set up and use the platform. The UI is smooth and clean, not complicated. The support is amazing and quick, every single question I had was answered immediately by the staff no matter what time I asked, they always helped me. I recommend to use it for simplicity if you just quickly wanna setup your 24/7 livestreams with no headache and smooth experience, this is the one for you.
We use StreamHouse to run the 24/7 live stream for our channel, Echoes Trip Lofi Jazz, and it's been a great experience. The thing that stood out most is how simple and fast the setup is — we were live within minutes, without having to wrestle with complicated technical settings. For a 24/7 stream, reliability matters, and it's been smooth for us. The pricing is genuinely fair, especially compared to other tools we looked at. But what really won us over is the team: whenever we had a question, they were quick, friendly, and actually helpful. That kind of support is rare and makes a real difference. If you're a creator looking to run a non-stop live stream — lofi, ambient, or anything else — StreamHouse is a solid, hassle-free choice. Highly recommend.
I've been using StreamHouse to manage my live streams and I'm really happy with the experience so far. The platform is easy to use, and setting up streams is much simpler than doing everything manually. The support has also been very helpful and responsive whenever I needed assistance. Overall, StreamHouse has made managing my streams much easier. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a simple solution for automated live streaming.
This is the best live service I have ever used.

FAQ
Multistreaming questions
Something else on your mind? Talk to us.
Multistreaming — also called simulcasting — means sending one live stream to several platforms at the same time, such as YouTube, Twitch and Kick. With StreamHouse, your encoder sends one stream to our server and we relay it to each platform, so you reach every audience without running separate streams.
Create a Live multistream in StreamHouse and add your destinations. Copy the server URL and stream key it shows, then in OBS open Settings → Stream, choose Custom and paste both. Press Start Streaming and StreamHouse sends your stream to every destination.
Not with StreamHouse. Your connection uploads one stream, and the copies for each platform are made on our servers. Multistreaming straight from OBS with a plugin uploads a full stream per platform, so three platforms need roughly three times the upload speed.
YouTube, Twitch, Kick and Facebook are built in, and any other service that gives you an RTMP or RTMPS server URL and a stream key can be added as a custom RTMP destination.
No. Your video is passed through exactly as your encoder sends it, with no re-encoding. Audio is converted to 256 kbps AAC. Because every platform gets the same video, choose a resolution and bitrate that all of your destinations accept.
StreamHouse notices within about three seconds and sends a holding screen to your platforms, so they stay connected instead of ending the stream. When your encoder reconnects, your video comes back on every platform. If it isn’t back within 15 minutes, the stream ends and your dashboard shows why.
Yes. Use a mobile app that can stream to a custom RTMP server, such as Larix Broadcaster or PRISM Live Studio, and paste the StreamHouse server URL and stream key. Mobile connections drop more often, which is where the holding screen helps most.
Stop the stream in your StreamHouse dashboard. Stopping only in your encoder looks the same as a dropped connection, so StreamHouse keeps the holding screen up and waits up to 15 minutes before ending the stream.
Generally, yes — but rules come from each platform. Twitch allows simulcasting unless you have an exclusive contract with Twitch. Kick Partners who multistream to other long-form platforms must turn on Kick’s Multistreaming toggle, which changes their payout for that stream. Check your own partner agreements before you go live.
No. A live multistream counts as one stream toward your plan’s limit, however many destinations it has.
StreamHouse plans start at $19 a month, and every plan includes live multistreaming and 24/7 streaming from video. Yearly billing takes 20% off, and you can cancel at any time.
