How to start a 24/7 Kick stream

Six steps, most of them one-time. Once your videos are uploaded, going live takes a few minutes.

Stream key setup

Go live on Kick with just your stream key

Open your Kick creator dashboard, copy your Stream Key, paste it into StreamHouse and pick your videos. StreamHouse already knows Kick’s RTMPS server, so there is no server URL to look up.

Your stream title, category and thumbnail stay on Kick — set them in your Kick dashboard as usual.

    Upload your videosAdd your videos to the StreamHouse library. Each one is encoded once, so there is nothing to convert yourself.

    Build a playlistDrag videos into the order you want. Videos in one stream need the same resolution, orientation and frame rate.

  • Know Kick’s Partner rules

    Kick doesn’t ban pre-recorded streams, but lists them as grounds to refuse or revoke verification and the Partner Program. Label reruns if that matters to you.

    Videos are encoded in H.264, the codec Kick takes, with the 2-second keyframe interval Kick recommends.

  • Yes — Kick doesn’t ban it, as long as you own the videos or have the rights to them. But Kick’s help center lists pre-recorded streams as grounds to refuse or revoke verification and the Partner Program, so if you’re aiming for either, keep that in mind and label reruns clearly.

  • Yes. StreamHouse loops your playlist on Kick with no set end time and reconnects if the connection drops. Just keep Kick’s verification and Partner rules for pre-recorded content in mind.

  • Open kick.com/dashboard/stream in your Kick creator dashboard and copy your Stream Key. Don’t share it: anyone with the key can stream to your channel. If it leaks, reset it there and paste the new one into StreamHouse.

  • No. Your videos are uploaded once and the stream runs on StreamHouse servers, so you can shut down your computer and the channel stays live. OBS is still the better tool if you want a webcam, scenes, alerts or live overlays — StreamHouse plays video files.

  • 1080p at 30 fps. Kick takes H.264 with up to 8,000 kbps and recommends 2-second keyframes; StreamHouse encodes 1080p video in H.264 with 2-second keyframes. Kick streams top out at 1080p, so use 1080p videos for Kick even on a 4K plan.

  • Yes. Add Twitch, YouTube, Rumble, Facebook, TikTok or any custom RTMP or SRT server to the same stream and StreamHouse sends it to all of them. Kick Partners must turn on Kick’s Multistreaming toggle when they also stream to another long-form platform, and Kick halves Partner payouts for that session.
